Scheduled orchard work days will usually be on the first Sunday of each month. Other work days/evenings can be organised on an ad hoc basis using the MRCO email list. Please add your name to the Online Poll if you are happy to let others know if you can/can't make various events

Sunday 3 March Scheduled Workday 12.30-5pm Fetching leaf mould from the Redland Green gates, mulching, spraying quiunce trees and other activities TBC.
Saturday 9/Sunday 10 March Hedgelaying 9.30am - 4.30pm Malcom 'Grandfather' Dowling will be returning to lay our left side hedge this weekend. Malcolm did a superb job on the hedge on the right side last year and we're delighted to welcome him back. Once again orchard members are invited to help out and learn the craft of hedgelaying from an expert.

Tues 16 April Film screening - SEED: The Untold Story "SEED: The Untold Story follows passionate seed keepers protecting our 12,000 year-old food legacy. In the last century, 94% of our seed varieties have disappeared. As biotech chemical companies control the majority of our seeds, farmers, scientists, lawyers, and indigenous seed keepers fight a David and Goliath battle to defend the future of our food. In a harrowing and heartening story, these reluctant heroes rekindle a lost connection to our most treasured resource and revive a culture connected to seeds." Third Sunday of every month Sims Hill volunteering day You can volunteer at Sims Hill Shared Harvest on the third Sunday of every month. 10.30am - 4pm. Meet at Feed Bristol. See for further info.
Last Wednesday of every month Folk Tales Regular evening of acoustic music and tale telling hosted by Joe Medlicott at the Benjamin Perry Scout Hut, Pheonix Wharf BS1. From 7.30pm. £4, free tea & biscuits.
